Everything But The Bagel Kale Chips

Updated: Jan 1

So If you know me at all, you probably know that I have a bit of an addiction to TJ's everything but the bagel seasoning and that I put it on ... well ... basically everything ...

To enlighten you a little on how true this addiction is, I'm a Canadian gal with no Trader Joe's anywhere near me which means I either stock my suitcase up with jars of it when I'm in the states or pay some outrageous prices and order it off amazon when times are tough. Like, seriously outrageous... It sells for around $3 in store and a whopping $15 plus shipping on amazon... Send help.

Outrageous, horrifying, addiction level prices aside, when I ended up with a huge bunch of baby kale from my garden, I knew I wanted to make kale chips with it, and naturally also knew that I was going to season them with none other than my go to EBTB seasoning.

So do yourself a favour and head to TJ's, or hop onto amazon.com if you're a Canadian and get yourself some of this seriously bomb seasoning so that you can A) make these kale chips and B) put it on literally everything else that you eat.

Everything But The Bagel Kale Chips

  • 1 large bunch of baby kale

  • 1 Tbsp of avocado oil or EVOO

  • 1-2 Tbsp of EBTB seasoning (depending on how salty you want them)

  • Wash your kale and dry it extremely well with paper towels.

  • Use a knife to cut the centre stem from the kale leaves. (I used baby kale so the 1/2 leaves I was left with after cutting the stems out were a good size for chips but if you're using larger kale leaves cut your stemless leaves into bite sized pieces)

  • Place your kale on a parchment lined baking sheet, drizzle evenly with your oil, and sprinkle your EBTB seasoning on.

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes at 225 degrees.
