Frozen Chocolate Banana Bites
Updated: Jan 1

Im a sucker for a bowl of dairy free ice cream after dinner but the problem is, I end up polishing off one of those little tubs in maximum 48 hours... Which isn't
only not ideal for my health but also pretty expensive since they go for around $7 a tub.. In came these frozen banana bites to save the freaking day when that sweet tooth kicks in.
These nice cream bites are made with frozen bananas making them a healthier and more affordable option for a late night frozen dessert that you can make at home with only 2-3 ingredients! Ive been loving having them in my freezer to grab when I want a little sweet treat or 2.
Ingredients
3 bananas
1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips
Optional toppings such as shredded coconut, chopped nuts, peanut butter drizzle, etc.
Directions
Slice bananas into bite size pieces and lay flat on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Melt your chocolate chips in a glass measuring cup in 15 seconds increments, stirring in between, until fully melted.
Pour a small amount of chocolate onto each banana until top is just covered.
If desired, sprinkle your toppings on top of chocolate.
Cool in the freezer for 1 hour or more.
Take out of freezer a few minutes before wanting to eat so they aren't too firm.
