Homemade Blender Oat Milk
Updated: Jan 1
After trying a few oat milk lattes at local coffee shops lately and loving the earthy flavour that it adds to drinks, I got to wondering how hard it would be to make my own oat milk at home. Turns out its insanely easy! All you need is some oat, some water, a blender, a tea towel, and about 5 minutes. Could it be any simpler?!
Homemade Oat Milk

Ingredients
1 cup oats
3 cups water
1 tsp pure vanilla (optional for a sweeter milk)
Directions
Add your oats and water and optional vanilla if desired to a blender and blend on high for about 30 seconds
Cover a large bowl with a clean thin tea towel and pour your milk into this bowl, using the tea towel as a strainer. I would recommend repeating this step once more for a thinner milk!
Store in a large jar or other sealed container in the fridge for up to a week
