Lemon & Broccoli Pasta Salad

Ok, think of the freshest simplest thing you've tasted ... now add carbs. Thats what you've got here and if you ask me it doesn't get much better than carbs and fresh flavours combined into one dish.

This lemon & broccoli pasta is so simple to make in a pinch as it requires so few ingredients! I love making this on weeknights or as part of my Sunday meal prep and adding some protein into it to get that macro balance on point.

My favourite way to serve this dish is either with seared prawns on top or shredded chicken and parmesan mixed in! So fresh, simple, and DELISH.


Lemon & Broccoli Pasta Salad


  • 2 cups fusilli pasta (I use gogo quinoa GF pasta)

  • 1 cup small broccoli florettes

  • 4 tbs olive oil

  • 2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast

  • 1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • sprinkle of red pepper flakes

  • fresh ground pepper to taste

  • Himalayan salt to taste


  • Cook pasta according to package directions.

  • Cook broccoli in boiling water until cooked.

  • Mix cooked pasta and broccoli together in a large bowl, tossing in the remaining ingredients.

  • Add protein of choice, parmesan, or fresh ground pepper if desired.
