5 Fitness Accounts You Should Be Following on IG
With so many people trying to maintain their health and fitness routines while at home right now, social media has been full of different at home workouts ranging from minimal to no equipment, some even using furniture as weights..
We built a home gym just over a year ago now (gym tour to come so stay tuned) so I am no newbie to working out at home, however I know lots of people are! Over the year I have found so many amazing trainers offering free workouts online and want to share my favourites with you as I know there are probably so many different home workouts on your news feed right now and finding the right ones from qualified trainers can be difficult.
I'm lucky to have a great variety of equipment in my gym including free weights, barbells, a cable system, a bench, and cardio equipment, however many of these trainers also offer programs and individual workouts that can be done with simple dumbbells and bands or even no equipment at all.
Olivia is a Canadian online fitness coach from Ontario with a background in sports who made a career change from the medical field to the fitness field due to a love for weightlifting and a desire to help others foster that same passion. She became a certified personal trainer in 2017 and now offers online training programs and coaching, free workouts via her IG page, and runs a youtube channel!
She offers a mix of home and gym based workouts on her page, with an emphasis on dumbbell only workouts that can be done from home right now. AMAZING! One thing I absolutely love about her page is how easy it is to navigate as she uses a cover photo on each workout to show what muscle group it is targeting. Organization ftw y'all.
Rachael DeVaux is a registered dietitian and certified personal trainer who shares tons of drool worthy food on her page along with workouts! She is posting tons of at home workouts right now that can be done with minimal to no equipment for free on her page as well as offering a 10 week program you can purchase from her website if you have access to more equipment like bands, dumbbells, and barbells.

Madeline is a PE school teacher with an education in both physical education and nutrition who offers both online training and nutrition/macro coaching. Not only does she have some awesome paid programs available for both home and gym workouts, but she also posts amazing free content on Instagram for her followers to get in a good sweat.
Most of her Instagram workouts can be done with minimal equipment like kettlebells, dumbbells, and resistance bands and are usually 30 minute or less which makes them super easy to fit into a tight schedule. She’s definitely my go to when I sleep in a little late and still want to fit some movement in before work.
Taylor is an IFBB bikini pro with a degree in dietetics who posts both fitness and lifestyle content including workouts that can be done both at home or at the gym. She’s also a great page to follow if you’re into fashion as she posts some super cute outfits for both in and out of the gym and actually runs her own athletic clothing company!
Kelsey is a sweat app trainer who has created some awesome programs for getting fit at home as well as in the gym and even offers special programs for postpartum mamas. She is also kind enough to share some of these workouts with her Instagram followers along with tons of great fitness tips.
